Ranger Talk: History of the Old Frederick County Courthouse

Stop by the Shenandoah Valley Civil War Museum in downtown Winchester, VA to hear SVBF Park Ranger, Wade Custer, talk about the history of the historic Frederick County Courthouse (now the museum).

The courthouse was built in 1840 and was used by both sides during the Civil War as a hospital, a prison, and a barracks.

Talks begin in front of the Shenandoah Valley Civil War Museum located at 20 N Loudoun St, Winchester, VA
