The Shenandoah Valley Battlefields National Historic District has produced a series of self-guided driving tours of battlefields and Civil War sites in the Valley.  Take part in these detailed trips through the Valley's Civil War history.

Civil War Driving Tours

Our Staunton Civil War driving tour is the first in a new series of tours that will explore the war’s effects on communities in the Valley.  Take this tour to learn more about Staunton’s remarkable wartime and post-war story.  (The tour was made possible by a grant from the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge.)
