This historic site was built in 1785 and it is one of the oldest operating gristmills in the country.  It grinds corn and wheat every Saturday from May through November.

This gristmill was built by General Daniel Morgan and Colonel Nathaniel Burwell and it was completed in 1785.  It was in continuous operation until 1943 and today it houses an Art Gallery along with historic interpretation of the mill’s role in the community.
