Home of the famous Confederate spy Belle Boyd.

One of the oldest buildings in Front Royal, the Belle Boyd Cottage still stands today and is maintained by the Warren Heritage Society.  It was moved to its current location in 1982 by the Heritage society and gives a personal story of Belle Boyd and her actions as a Confederate spy during the Civil War.  Boyd was arrested several times for her activities but survived the war to have five children and a career in theater.

Monday – Friday

9:30 am to 4:00 pm

May through October, Cottage is also open on Saturdays
