The mission of the CFC is to support and to promote philanthropy through a program that is employee-focused, cost efficient and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. CFC is the largest workplace giving program in the world and we are honored to be a part of it. The CFC is a complete donor choice campaign where you direct your support to charities and foundations that work on issues you care deeply about. Most Federal employees elect to pledge a specific amount to be withheld regularly from their pay beginning in January and continuing through December. One-time gifts are also possible. It is effective, easy and consistent. This consistency allows charities and foundations to allocate resources, qualify for grant funding and implement our programs to the highest extent. Federal employees review the charities/foundations on an annual basis. Only those that meet high standards can participate in the CFC. The Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation CFC number is 27892.
