Cedar Creek & Belle Grove National Historical Park Ranger Shannon Moeck will lead a 30-minute program, Kneading in Silence: A Glimpse Into The Life of Judah the Enslaved Cook in the Belle Grove Winter Kitchen (enter under the front porch of the Manor House). Born in 1794 and purchased by the Hites of Belle Grove around 1817, Judah was a cook until her death in 1836. Guests may tour the Manor House before or after this program at 1:15 pm or 3:15pm (an admission fee applies).  336 Belle Grove Road.  For more information, call 540-869-2028.
