Conference: “A Dangerous Game”: Irregular Operations and Espionage during the Civil War Era

Please consider joining Shenandoah University’s McCormick Civil War Institute for its annual spring conference “A Dangerous Game”: Irregular Operations and Espionage during the Civil War Era.  The conference, will be held at the University’s Cool Spring Battlefield Campus in beautiful Bluemont, Virginia, (1400 Parker Lane).  The conference will feature presentations by nationally recognized Civil War historians, Jonathan Berkey, Barton Myers, Brian McKnight, Jonathan Noyalas, and Keven Walker.  The day will also include a panel discussion and student session.  The registration fee of $50 covers all presentations, lunch, and refreshments.  Space is limited so please register early.  You can register by contacting SU’s College of Arts and Sciences at 540-665-4587 or emailing cpfieste@su.edu.  Any additional questions about the conference can be directed to the Institute’s director, Prof. Jonathan Noyalas at jnoyalas01@su.edu  Additional information about the day can be viewed on the McCormick Civil War Institute’s website https://www.su.edu/arts/special-programs/mccormick-civil-war-institute-2/
