Summer Open House at the Breneman-Turner Mill

Visit the historic Breneman-Turner Mill to tour the mill, see corn being ground into meal on the Pony Stone, and hear stories about its history, including how the mill was saved during Gen. Phillip Sheridan's Burning of the Valley in the fall of 1864. To visit the mill, follow Route 42 north of Harrisonburg two miles, turn left on Brenneman Church Road and go one mile to the mill on the right.
